Resource & Home Member Management Tools

Effectively manage different types of placement facilities (resources) such as Foster Parent Homes, Group Homes/Residences, Residential Treatment Facilities/Centers and Early Learn Institutions.  Asara also has the ability to track a placement resource/facility and its history, starting with recruitment events, inquiry status, certification, re-certification and closed dates, which allows the ability to re-open the same resource in the future.

Functions include:

  • Create and track recruitment events and inquiries generated
  • Track a detailed history of each resource using multiple statuses
        1. Inquiry
        2. Application
        3. Emergency
        4. Certification
        5. Re-certification
        6. Closed
      • Track homes obtained as the result of a transfer
      • Track certification/license start and end dates according to New York State regulations
        1. Auto-generated expiration and target dates based on the date of certification
        2. Run reports to review expiration dates and plan for the re-certification process
      • Record and track home finding activity associated with opening resource according to New York State regulations and guidelines. This includes but is not limited to:
            1. Recruitment events
            2. Fireguard inspection
            3. Home visit
            4. Financial verification
            5. Home study completion
  • Track home member details including fingerprint and State Clearance Registrations
  • Eliminate duplicate data entry: Import and upload re-certification data directly into Kula using connections data
  • Robust resource and home member management: Track and manage placement facilities and home members with at-a-glance overview of resource history, including recruitment, inquiry status, certification, re-certification and closed dates
  • Track specific home finding activity associated with New York State regulations and guidelines, including:
    1. Recruitment events
    2. Fireguard inspection
    3. Home visit
